SATISFY featured image

SATISFY

France · Est. 2015 · Mid-range

SATISFY is a luxury European designer activewear label for running, founded in Paris in 2015 by Brice Partouche. Partouche, who previously founded the French label April77, took up running after decades of skateboarding and found little running gear that matched his taste. He spent a year prototyping before launching SATISFY, which aims to bring the rebellious spirit of subcultures like skateboarding to running. The range covers running shorts, T-shirts, singlets, tights, trousers, jackets, fleeces, socks, hats, hydration vests and accessories. Signature lines include MothTech T-shirts with their deliberately moth-eaten look, TechSilk shorts, AuraLite tees, Rippy trail shorts and Space-O pieces. Production takes place in Europe using technical fabrics from specialist suppliers. Rather than typical sportswear suppliers, SATISFY sources materials from the mills used by luxury fashion houses and from innovators such as Schoeller, aiming for lightness, durability and softness over many miles. Many fabrics include organic cotton, recycled polyester and merino wool. SATISFY has collaborated with Salomon on running shoes, with norda on the Peace 001 trail shoe and with Levi's on climbing-ready 501 jeans. Gear Patrol has described it as making some of the most important clothing in running.

Boboutic

Italy · Est. 2000 · Luxury

Boboutic is an Italian designer knitwear label, founded in Florence in 2000 by knitwear designer Michel Bergamo and architect and photographer Cristina Zamagni. The duo set out to take everyday experience and inject it into knitwear, and in 2012 they were joined by fashion designer Niccolò Magrelli. Boboutic has presented its collections during Paris Fashion Week since 2001. Each collection is also developed with artists from visual art, performance and film, including Fanny & Alexander, Kinkaleri, Marco Mazzoni, Jacopo Miliani, Davide Savorani and the Zapruder filmmakersgroup, who create original artworks linked to the collection's theme.

Proto-Types featured image

Proto-Types

Switzerland · Est. 2021 · Luxury

PROTOtypes is an upcycled, gender-neutral European designer clothing label, founded in Zurich in 2021 by Laura Beham and Callum Pidgeon. The two met while sharing a desk at Vetements: Beham, originally from Germany, joined the Vetements team in Paris at a young age, while Pidgeon, from the UK, studied menswear at University of the Arts London and also worked for Martine Rose. They launched the label to challenge how fashion is produced and consumed, regenerating material that already exists in abundance. The ready-to-wear collections include jackets, tops, trousers, dresses, knitwear and hoodies cut from deadstock fabric, decommissioned uniforms, vintage garments, football scarves and household textiles, and are made in Switzerland. Series 06 reworked late-1990s and early-2000s football kits into corsets, joggers and padded hoodies as a tribute to the sport's working-class roots. Inspired by Duchamp's readymades, the designers want each garment's origin to stay visible. Their Proto Packs offer manuals and sewing patterns so anyone can recreate Second Life styles at home, such as turning two old sweatpants into a hoodie. PROTOtypes received a Swiss Design Award for fashion and textile design in 2024 and has been profiled by Highsnobiety and PAPER Magazine.

Canada · Est. 2001 · Mid-range

Jennifer Glasgow Design is a Canadian designer label for women, founded in Montreal in 2001 by designer Jennifer Glasgow. The collections cover tops, dresses, bottoms and outerwear, with pieces such as the Adore Button Up Top, the Agate Dress, the Aria Panel Skirt and the Billie Barrel Jogger. Everything is designed and produced in Montreal by a team strengthened by skilled local seamstresses, which lets the brand oversee every step from textiles and cutting to sewing and shipping. It focuses on OEKO-TEX materials and works in small batches to limit waste, following slow-fashion values that began with sewing in the back of its first boutique. Its boutique at 5145 St Laurent Boulevard, open since 2006, sells the label's own collections alongside sustainable brands from local designers, plus jewellery, shoes, scarves, art and apothecary items.
