IshqME

India · Affordable

IshqME is an Indian designer, handmade clothing label for women, founded in Chennai by Deepa Mahadevan; the brand does not publicly list its founding year. The range includes tops, T-shirts, dresses, skirts, co-ords, jumpsuits and sleepwear, alongside handcrafted bags, jewellery and ceramics. Signature pieces include the Kohana Cotton Cut-Out Dress, the Silken Whisper Printed Mini Party Dress, the Adira Black Floral Waist Dress, embroidered tops and T-shirt combos. Everything is made in India. Pieces are designed by the IshqME team and handmade by Indian karigars, or artisans, who have traditionally supplied international brands, so the quality matches international standards. Many designs feature artisanal details such as embroidery. IshqME describes its community as a tribe of fun, bold and free women. It sells online and has opened its first store in Adyar, Chennai.
