Mirolyub featured image

Mirolyub

USA · Mid-range

Mirolyub is a New York label whose name joins mir, the Slavic word for peace, and lyubov, the word for love. That pairing runs through everything it makes: clothes and jewellery meant to feel calm, expressive and a little defiant in equal measure. The collection centres on Cyrillic-slogan tees, oversized hoodies and wide-leg pants, alongside an unprinted Essentials line of quieter basics. Statement jewellery sits beside the clothing, so a single outfit can carry both the graphic voice and something softer. Fits are unisex and stretch from XS through 4XL, so the pieces are built to be worn rather than sized into a narrow mould. Prices run from about $35 to $370, which keeps the label in mid-range territory without chasing either bargain or luxury. What stands out is the Slavic tone. The slogans and silhouettes lean into a cultural register that most Western streetwear brands skip, and the Essentials line shows the same care for cut and fabric even when there is no print. Mirolyub does not lean on long sustainability claims or certifications. Its pitch is simpler: clothes with a point of view, made for people who want to say something without shouting.

Sadly, in 2026 Crawshaw announced the brand would be pressing pause, citing a business structure that no longer supported his vision for creation.

Rather than treating beauty as a purely cosmetic routine, Divana’s positioning feels closer to ritual and self-care. Locally made production is another important part of the story. Sustainability also fits naturally into this approach. Combined with natural ingredients and local production, it supports a more considered form of luxury beauty that is not built only around packaging or exclusivity. For shoppers interested in premium self-care, Divana Wellness offers a different proposition from a conventional skincare or makeup brand. It combines luxury beauty with plant-based ingredients, natural formulation, sustainability, local craftsmanship, and heritage, making the brand especially relevant to customers who see wellness and beauty as part of the same everyday ritual.

NABLA Cosmetics featured image

NABLA Cosmetics

Italy · Est. 2013 · Mid-range

NABLA Cosmetics is an Italian indie beauty brand that built an international following by refusing to behave like the market expected. Based in Milan, it describes itself as born to be sincere to its clients, going well beyond normal market conventions, and that bluntness has become part of its appeal in a category built on gloss. The range is colour-led and technically ambitious. Highly pigmented eyeshadows, blushes, highlighters, complexion products and lip colour make up a catalogue the brand describes as high quality, highly efficient and totally safe, with formulas it characterises as extremely innovative rather than iterative. Ingredients are chosen for performance, with a stated preference for natural ones where they do the job better. Every NABLA product is vegan. The brand uses no ingredients or colorants of animal origin whatsoever, including carmine, which is unusual for a colour brand of this scale given how heavily the industry relies on it for reds and pinks. NABLA is also certified cruelty-free by PETA, and its policy is comprehensive: it does not test finished products or individual ingredients on animals, does not commission such testing on behalf of others, and does not sell in countries where animal testing is mandatory, which rules out a substantial commercial market on principle. Priced in the mid-range tier, NABLA sits alongside prestige colour cosmetics on payoff while remaining an independent Italian company. For shoppers seeking vegan, PETA-certified cruelty-free European beauty with serious pigment and no interest in industry convention, NABLA is a genuinely compelling choice.
