South Africa · Est. 1995 · Affordable

Desray is a South African designer, handmade clothing label for women, founded in Cape Town in 1995. What began as a love for beautiful fabrics and flattering design has grown into a proudly local, family-run brand committed to slow fashion, premium quality and purposeful production; the website does not name an individual founder. Its designs are inspired by timeless European style, with classic tailoring, beautiful textures and flattering cuts, interpreted through a South African lens. Signature pieces include the Black Oversize Pullover, the Caramel Long Poncho, the Bardot Top, the Corduroy Verna Pants, the Flamestitch Moon Dress and the Charcoal Oversize Lux Coat. Some of its knitwear is certified to GOTS, the Global Recycled Standard or the Responsible Wool Standard.
