is founded by Ecuadorian-born Latina designer Denise Focil, who embarked on a singular mission to craft the perfect leather jacket sustainably, and her obsession with the timeless elegance of leather gave birth to this designer clothing brand, celebrated for its masterful leather craftsmanship and elevated contemporary designs. Born in Ecuador and raised in LA, Focil attended Tufts University before graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, then moved to Italy to begin her career at Alpinestars designing women's motorcycle jackets, before eventually launching her own brand in 2009. The brand crafts its leather from lambskin scraps that would otherwise be discarded, and sources most other textiles from biodegradable fabrics. It is also an official partner of Ocean Conservancy, donating to ocean cleanup efforts.
