HAUS LABEL featured image

HAUS LABEL

USA · Est. 2022 · Mid-range

HAUS LABEL is a minimalist American activewear label for women, founded in New York in 2022 by Karina Trofimova. The brand was born from Haus Agency, the Lower East Side showroom and brand development firm Trofimova started in 2018, after a friend complimented an outfit she wore for a bike ride and cocktails. It offers timeless pieces for the active, outfit-repeating woman who values simplified decision making but understands the power of expressing herself through style. The core collection includes tops, bodysuits, bike shorts, leggings, capris, micro mini skirts, bikini tops and briefs that translate from day to night, from Pilates to work and from a bike ride to dinner with friends. Pieces are ethically made in Latvia, Trofimova's home country, at a factory she has visited many times. The brand uses Italian nylon made from recovered ocean waste and post-consumer plastic bottles, double lined with sweat-wicking material. Rather than releasing four collections a year, it keeps a core range and adds new colourways only when needed. HAUS LABEL's first collaboration was with model and DJ Gilly Chan, and the brand has been featured by Garmentory and Raydar Magazine.

Electric & Rose is an American activewear and lifestyle label for women and men, founded in Los Angeles in 2014 by Erin Chiamulon and Eric Balfour. The couple started the brand in their home in Venice, California, and named it after two streets in their Venice Beach neighbourhood. The line officially launched for Fall/Winter 2014 and now includes sweatshirts, pullovers, joggers, sweatpants, shorts, leggings, tees, tanks and shirts. SATISFY featured image

SATISFY

France · Est. 2015 · Mid-range

SATISFY is a luxury European designer activewear label for running, founded in Paris in 2015 by Brice Partouche. Partouche, who previously founded the French label April77, took up running after decades of skateboarding and found little running gear that matched his taste. He spent a year prototyping before launching SATISFY, which aims to bring the rebellious spirit of subcultures like skateboarding to running. The range covers running shorts, T-shirts, singlets, tights, trousers, jackets, fleeces, socks, hats, hydration vests and accessories. Signature lines include MothTech T-shirts with their deliberately moth-eaten look, TechSilk shorts, AuraLite tees, Rippy trail shorts and Space-O pieces. Production takes place in Europe using technical fabrics from specialist suppliers. Rather than typical sportswear suppliers, SATISFY sources materials from the mills used by luxury fashion houses and from innovators such as Schoeller, aiming for lightness, durability and softness over many miles. Many fabrics include organic cotton, recycled polyester and merino wool. SATISFY has collaborated with Salomon on running shoes, with norda on the Peace 001 trail shoe and with Levi's on climbing-ready 501 jeans. Gear Patrol has described it as making some of the most important clothing in running.

UNNA featured image

Holtback previously founded the menswear label L'HOMME ROUGE, named brand of the year at Nordiska Kompaniet and a winner of the International Woolmark Prize, and created UNNA after a health scare showed him how much exercise matters for body and mind. The name is a Swedish term for treating yourself, and the brand's "Finish in a Good Place" motto puts joy and well-being ahead of performance. The collection covers running shorts, tights, sports bras, T-shirts, tanks, long-sleeve tops, jackets, trousers, hoodies, socks and accessories, combining sportswear function with fashion-led silhouettes, colours and prints. Production takes place in trusted factories within the European Union. Material science sits at the centre of product development. UNNA uses ECONYL regenerated nylon made from waste such as fishing nets, recycled polyester from PET bottles, TENCEL lyocell and modal, GOTS-certified organic cotton for all its cotton products, and RWS-certified, mulesing-free wool.
