is founded in 2016 by Paris-born, Los Angeles-based designer Ambre Dahan, who had previously served as design director at Joe's Jeans and found herself at a personal and professional crossroads when she decided to launch her own designer clothing brand. On a trip back to her hometown of Paris, she discovered a cotton-lined stretch leather that fit like a second skin and made every woman who wore it feel like she could do anything, and this fabric became the foundation of the brand. The name is a shortening of "superwoman," and each piece of lamb skin leather is sourced from expert French artisans, hand-dyed with vegetal dyes, and engineered with an elasticity that retains its shape over time. The brand has expanded from its signature leather leggings and pants into cashmere knits, silk, denim, and outerwear, building a loyal following among the stylish women of Los Angeles.
